Helicopter filming services with Shotover F1

Shotover, the most advanced aerial filming system

Authorized by the European Aviation Safety Agency for commercial operations in controlled airspace, urban environments and night operations, Dronelab offers filming services with configurable mono and twin-turbine helicopters for fiction, documentary, corporate, VFX and photogrammetry.

The Shotover F1 is the only 6-axis gyro-stabilized head in the world. Stabilization is crucial in dynamic environments. Mounted on a helicopter, the Shotover F1 maintains unquestionable stability even in extreme conditions ensuring sharp shots free of unwanted vibrations.

Shotover F1 can accommodate over 200 camera and lens combinations. The combination with the latest generation Red and Arri cameras guarantees exceptional image quality.

From wide-angle shots to intense close-ups, extreme range variable focus lens options offer a huge range of visual possibilities.

We usually combine the Red Weapon 6K, Monstro 8K and Arri Alexa Mini LF with optics such as Fujinon Premista 28-100mm, Premista 80-250mm, Cabrio ZK 25-300 mm and Angénieux Optimo Anamorphic 42-420 A2S, along with ND-IR optical filters, obtaining impeccable qualities in combinations with the efficiency required by aerial work with a helicopter.

In short, the Shotover F1 is the ultimate tool for mounting on helicopters, airplanes, boats and land vehicles.

Showcase

  • “Dronelab delivers breathtaking shots. Through their approach, the viewer truly feels like they are flying—sometimes floating and at times accelerating like an arrow. After all is said and done, it's easy to forget the hard work and intricate choreography it takes for everything to appear so seamless and beautiful. If I could bring them to all my productions wherever I go, I wouldn't hesitate. Dronelab has all the equipment, but what truly matters is the skilled hand of the pilot and the masterful eye of the cinematographer.”
